FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
You don't need to know how to pose or have any experience in front of a camera. That's what we're here for.
Before your session, we'll discuss what you're looking for, the kind of photographs you have in mind, what to wear and where we'd like to shoot. During the session, you'll be guided through poses and prompts while we also leave room for natural moments to happen.
The most important thing is simply to come as yourself. There's no pressure to get everything perfect—we'll take our time and create photographs that feel natural, comfortable and true to you.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Our packages cover photography services within our standard service areas. Travel outside these areas may attract an additional travel fee, depending on the location and logistics involved.
For destination sessions and weddings, we’ll discuss the travel requirements with you upfront and include any applicable travel and accommodation costs in your quote, so there are no surprises.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Absolutely. The location can play a big part in the feel of your photographs, so we’re happy to recommend options based on the kind of session you have in mind.
Whether you’re looking for something clean and minimal, natural and relaxed, architectural, intimate, or more editorial, we can help you choose a location that complements the story and mood we’re creating.
If you already have a place in mind, feel free to share it with us and we can work from there. Location fees, permits and other associated costs may apply depending on the venue.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
For portrait and couple sessions, we keep an eye on the forecast leading up to your session. If the weather is severe enough to affect the shoot, we can reschedule to another suitable date or explore an alternative indoor or covered location. Light rain or overcast skies don't necessarily mean we have to cancel—sometimes they can create a beautiful atmosphere.
For weddings and other events, we're there regardless of the weather. Since your date is fixed, we'll adapt our approach and make use of available indoor spaces, covered areas and changing light to continue documenting the day as it unfolds.
Whatever the weather brings, we'll work with it and keep the focus on telling your story beautifully.
